Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk (afternoon shift) in its Petoskey, Michigan store. The role delivers excellent customer service through product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude, while handling a range of retail tasks in the Fresh departments. It suits someone who enjoys working with food, helping customers and staying active in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
