Customer Service Representative (Travel Tours)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Customer Service Representative to join our New Orleans team. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current guests, providing accurate information about our historical tours and ensuring a smooth experience from inquiry through post‑tour follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries about tours, itineraries, pricing, and policies.
• Assist guests with reservations, bookings, payment processing, and changes.
• Coordinate closely with operations and sales teams to deliver seamless travel experiences.
• Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Document guest interactions, track issues, and escalate complex concerns when needed.
• Share guest feedback to improve FAQs, communication materials, and overall service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer‑facing role such as Customer Service Representative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional tone.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in history and cultural travel; familiarity with WWII or American history is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality, travel, or related fields is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in New Orleans, LA.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or reservation systems.
• Competence in standard office software, such as Microsoft Office.
