Customer Support Associate

About the role

RemoteHunter is looking for a Customer Support Associate to join an online education client. The role focuses on driving learner engagement, providing proactive support, and guiding participants through virtual programs while working EST business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound welcome calls and send automated reminders about class schedules, deadlines, and milestones.
• Reach out to inactive or struggling learners to identify obstacles and offer support resources.
• Respond to student inquiries across multiple communication channels with clear, professional, and empathetic guidance.
• Record all student touchpoints, support tickets, and engagement updates accurately in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal education teams to resolve issues and gather testimonial feedback.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in customer support, learner engagement, or client success.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Full availability during Eastern Standard Time (8 AM – 4 PM).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented record‑keeping and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Proficiency with digital communication platforms and remote collaboration tools.
