Customer Service Representative

About the role

Armstrong Fluid Technology, a global manufacturer of fluid-flow technology serving mission-critical buildings and infrastructure, is hiring a Customer Service Representative in North Tonawanda. The role covers customer communication, order processing and reporting, and is paid $20-$22.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proactive, professional communication with customers and handle inquiries by telephone and email
• Follow established policies and procedures and collaborate with internal departments to deliver good service
• Maintain accurate records of customer contracts and update customer data files
• Process change orders and Sales Returns Goods, enter and confirm orders in the Manufacturing Planning System, and manage the regional order backlog
• Communicate delivery status, coordinate with finance, sales, procurement and production, and resolve customer complaints

Required profile

• Eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of customer service experience is essential
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Technical writing and interpersonal communication skills; experience in HVAC is a plus

Required skills

• Moderate computer skills
• Proficiency with an MRP system
• Adaptability to new processes
