Curbside Clerk

About the role

Meijer is hiring a Curbside Clerk in Ionia to fulfill customers' online curbside orders. The role drives customer loyalty and satisfaction through fast, friendly and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection at the curbside pick-up area.

Key responsibilities

• Receive orders from the dashboard and fulfill them for the day
• Select products using the in-store selection process and bag them according to bagging standards
• Store products correctly in the staging area following food safety guidelines
• Greet each customer, take payment and ensure an easy shopping experience
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers, team members and leadership, and resolve complaints quickly by contacting leadership when needed
• Keep a clean and neat work environment

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in a Meijer store preferred
• Past cashier experience preferred
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Detail oriented, organized and able to follow procedures efficiently
