CT Technologist – Day Shift

About the role

The CT Technologist provides accurate computed tomography imaging for a high‑volume outpatient department at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Working the day shift (8:00 am‑4:30 pm), you will ensure patient safety, efficiency, and high‑quality diagnostic results while accessing extensive educational and professional development resources.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire patient chart data and requisitions, verify study orders, and set up the CT room accordingly.
• Educate patients about the procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure cooperation.
• Perform up to 40 CT scans per eight‑hour shift, maintaining efficiency and timeliness.
• Maintain technical and clerical aspects of the CT area, including quality‑assurance documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including lifting patients and using personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT (R.T.(R)) in good standing.
• CT certification (R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.
• Preferred: one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
