About the role
Provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio‑thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations, while participating in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
Key responsibilities
- Manage anesthesia for over 100,000 cases across various clinical settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient care.
- Deliver care across multiple specialties such as cancer, transplantation, trauma, and outpatient procedures.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
- Certified as a CRNA by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
