About the role

The In-House Agency Plus Program offers PRN employment for 13‑week intervals, requiring 36 hours per week. Nurses will provide critical care staffing support across multiple UAMS locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in critical care, surgical trauma, and oncology units.
  • Coordinate patient care, triage, and collaborate with providers, fellows, and staff across various UAMS sites.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
  • At least 12 months of acute care hospital experience, including a minimum of 6 months in direct patient care.
  • Must not be currently employed by UAMS; former employees need a 180‑day separation.

Required skills

  • Critical Care specialty with pre‑screening test score of 80% or higher.
  • Chemotherapy certification (if assigned to oncology units).
  • Ability to use PPE such as N95 masks, PAPR or CAPR.
