Crew Leader - Landscape/Hardscape Install

About the role

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Crew Leader to oversee landscape and hardscape installation projects. The role involves managing labor, materials, and budgets while developing the team to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities for assigned enhancement projects.
• Monitor hourly and cost budgets, review job hours and reports, and communicate budget expectations to assistants and crew members.
• Meet with clients on each job and ensure satisfactory completion through daily inspections and sign‑offs.
• Sell additional services using time‑and‑material tickets.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and reflect the company’s image.
• Complete daily time entry and oversee AM/PM crew procedures.
• Develop team members by setting goals, providing evaluations, and participating in training and certification sessions.

Required profile

• At least one year of commercial landscape or enhancement installation experience.
• Experience organizing and scheduling projects and managing staff.
• Ability to work with service customers and negotiate material purchases.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with a clean record for the past three years.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong written and oral communication skills in English.
