CPT Instructor – In‑Person College Teaching Role

About the role

The College is seeking a CPT Instructor to join its Cheraw Campus faculty. This full‑time, on‑site position involves teaching, curriculum development, student advising, and participation in college service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course material using effective instructional strategies and manage classroom activities.
• Develop, revise, and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, and curriculum for associate‑degree and certificate courses.
• Observe required office hours, submit grades and reports promptly, and provide academic guidance to advisees.
• Participate in professional development, college committees, recruitment events, and community outreach.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Dean of Workforce and Continuing Education.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline, or an associate’s degree with demonstrated competency in the field.
• For certificate‑only courses, an associate’s degree with relevant experience, or documented licensure/certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
