CPQ Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented CPQ Business Analyst to help design and implement a Configure, Price, Quote and Contract platform for LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The role bridges business stakeholders and the development team, translating pricing logic into clear functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse data from working groups to map current pricing processes.
• Document functional requirements for the CPQ system and maintain up‑to‑date specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the Pricing team to capture business needs and translate complex pricing rules for developers.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT, clarifying requirements and ensuring accurate implementation.
• Validate delivered features through testing, QA support, and subject‑matter‑expert verification.
• Maintain documentation of pricing logic, workflows, and system behaviour within the CPQ platform.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and backlog prioritisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Proven experience with CPQ tools (custom‑built or platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ).
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, discounting and revenue management concepts.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
