CPQ Business Analyst – Configure Price Quote Platform

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented CPQ Business Analyst to support the creation of a Configure, Price, Quote and Contract platform for LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the software development team, translating pricing concepts into functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse data from working groups to identify current processes and improvement opportunities.
• Research best‑practice CPQ solutions and document functional requirements for developers.
• Partner with the Pricing team to capture and translate complex pricing logic.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT, clarifying requirements and supporting implementation.
• Validate delivered functionality through testing, QA support and subject‑matter‑expert testing.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of pricing logic, workflows and system behaviour.
• Identify automation and system‑enhancement opportunities, triage defects and prioritise backlog items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; ISEB qualification preferred.
• 3‑7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, discounting and revenue management.
• Proven ability to translate complex business processes into clear technical specifications.

Required skills

• Experience with CPQ tools such as Salesforce CPQ or Oracle CPQ (or custom‑built platforms).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Agile methodologies – Scrum and Kanban.
• Documentation and testing of functional requirements.
