Counterintelligence TSCM Practitioner

About the role

Cintel is seeking an experienced Counterintelligence Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Practitioner to support a government agency in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves identifying and mitigating intelligence threats to personnel, programs, and facilities while traveling up to 50% of the year.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and report potential threat information and recommend mitigation actions.
• Conduct analysis of CI and intelligence threats, assembling and correlating data for reports.
• Analyze information gaps and define collection requirements.
• Support CI and intelligence inquiries under direction of the counterintelligence team lead.
• Prepare and disseminate intelligence reports and briefings.
• Assist in implementing TEMPEST countermeasures and provide technical recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of TSCM experience within large DoD programs.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Certified to USD/I standards per DoD Directive 5240.02 and holds an Interagency Training Center (ITC) certification.
• Familiarity with DoD Instruction 5240.05 and CI Division SOPs.
• Ability to work independently and lead sub‑teams.
