Cost and Pricing Manager – Hybrid (Buffalo, NY)

About the role

Moog is seeking a Cost and Pricing Manager to lead its Cost Engineering team in the Space Division. Based in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY, the role combines cost estimating, pricing strategy and contract negotiation for government and commercial programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Cost Engineering team, providing coaching, training and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement of cost estimating and pricing processes, tools and methodologies across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with Moog policies, FAR, TINA and Cost Accounting Standards for accurate and defensible cost proposals.
• Develop and support pricing strategies for the Space Division and communicate cost assumptions, risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers and government representatives to achieve profitability and compliance goals.
• Maintain customer relationships during contract price negotiations and support audits and budget baseline processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in pricing, cost engineering or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Truth in Negotiations Act and Cost Accounting Standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and Moog locations.
