About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking a Regulatory Data Analyst to join its Data & Statistics Function. You will work within the Treasury team of the Data Collection & Reporting Department, focusing on Treasury International Capital (TIC) data from U.S. financial institutions. The role supports the Fed’s mission to strengthen the U.S. economy and global financial stability through high‑quality data and insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of non‑complex and moderately complex financial datasets, using visualizations to spot anomalies and trends.
• Develop targeted inquiries to resolve data‑integrity issues in institutional submissions.
• Ensure timely receipt of data submissions, monitor collection schedules, and address technical submission problems.
• Engage with financial institutions to improve data quality, providing guidance on reporting requirements.
• Produce actionable insights that inform policy decisions and operational improvements.
• Participate in automation and emerging‑technology initiatives to modernize the data platform and increase efficiency.
• Research and resolve reporting inquiries, applying regulatory guidance to propose sound conclusions.
