Cosmetology Instructor – Full‑Time Position

About the role

Savannah Technical College is seeking a full‑time Cosmetology Instructor with a specialization in Esthetics. You will join a vibrant campus community, delivering state‑approved curriculum to aspiring beauty professionals and helping them achieve licensure and career success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction using current cosmetology and esthetician curriculum.
• Evaluate student progress, record learning outcomes, and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe, compliant learning environment in both classroom and lab settings.
• Retain enrolled students through graduation and assist with post‑graduation placement.
• Prepare and submit required documentation, reports, and administrative records.
• Develop and sustain relationships with local businesses, industry partners, and the public sector.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Esthetician and/or Master Cosmetology program.
• Active Georgia Master Cosmetologist and/or Esthetician license in good standing.
• At least three years of full‑time, paid work experience in the field within the past seven years.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and Saturdays as needed.

Required skills

• Valid Georgia Master Cosmetologist or Esthetician license.
• Ability to teach and assess technical beauty procedures.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards for cosmetology labs.
