Cosmetology Adjunct Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a Cosmetology Adjunct Instructor to join the Georgia State Government’s education team. In this part‑time role you will deliver accredited cosmetology courses in classroom, lab and field settings, providing both theoretical knowledge and hands‑on practice to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans and standardized syllabi for cosmetology courses.
• Teach theory and practical applications in a simulated industry environment.
• Assess student progress and measure learning outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Participate in required professional development and training.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and state regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Cosmetology from an accredited post‑secondary institution or equivalent.
• At least three years of cosmetology field experience within the past seven years.
• Current Georgia Master Cosmetologist License issued by the State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work morning or evening hours, Monday‑through‑Thursday.
