Corporate IT and Security Engineer

About the role

Rowspace is seeking its first dedicated Corporate IT and Security Engineer to own and operate the systems that keep the company secure and productive. You will manage everything from employee devices and identity to corporate networks, SOC 2 compliance, and security incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Own employee IT across laptops, mobile devices, identity, access, onboarding and offboarding.
• Configure and manage MDM, SSO, endpoint security, email security, and company‑wide SaaS applications.
• Maintain corporate network security, including Wi‑Fi, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, segmentation and zero‑trust access.
• Run day‑to‑day security operations: monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response and remediation.
• Support SOC 2 program with evidence collection, audit preparation and coordination with external auditors.
• Build and automate onboarding/offboarding workflows and access reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in corporate IT, systems administration or information security.
• Hands‑on experience with identity providers, SSO, MFA, MDM and enterprise SaaS tools.
• Experience operating in a primarily macOS environment and supporting a SOC 2 program.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, DNS and zero‑trust concepts.

• Endpoint protection platforms (CrowdStrike)
• Network security platforms (Cloudflare, firewalls, VPN)
• Scripting or automation using APIs, PowerShell, Bash or similar.
