Corporate & Investment Banking Trade Finance & Working Capital Sales VP

About the role

Santander is seeking a senior professional to lead Trade Finance and Working Capital sales within its Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division. The role involves originating, executing, and managing finance transactions for US and overseas corporate borrowers.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and support finance transactions, acting as the product specialist for GTB solutions.
• Identify and sell innovative GTB products to new‑to‑bank clients, expanding Santander’s US portfolio.
• Manage the client journey from sales through implementation and serve as the escalation point.
• Maintain the relationship between Santander and its corporate clients, overseeing credit risk appetite and portfolio performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of experience in Trade Finance and Working Capital sales or corporate client relationship management.
• Deep understanding of Working Capital and Trade Finance products such as Receivables, Supply Chain Finance, Structured Trade, and Letters of Credit.
• Proven ability to work independently, influence internal and external stakeholders, and uphold high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Financial analysis, risk evaluation, and loan documentation expertise.
