CLO Structuring Associate

About the role

The CLO team at Santander is seeking an experienced associate to support the origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and transactions. You will work across the full deal lifecycle, collaborating with internal teams, external counsel, and clients in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses, new issues, resets, and refinancings.
• Build and run CLO cash‑flow models using Excel, Intex, and rating‑agency software for investor marketing and rating analysis.
• Prepare transaction materials such as term sheets, credit memos, marketing decks, and pitch books.
• Coordinate execution timelines with CLO managers, legal counsel, syndicate, and rating agencies.
• Monitor warehouse activity, including asset approvals, funding, and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Prior experience in CLO structuring or banking with direct exposure to CLO documents and models.
• Strong quantitative and technical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Intex and rating‑agency modeling software.
• Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
