Corporate & Investment Banking Receivables Financing Associate

About the role

Santander is seeking a Corporate & Investment Banking Receivables Financing Associate to structure, price, and execute trade receivables monetisation transactions for its US corporate clients. The associate will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients optimise working capital through tailored receivables solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and execute receivable financing transactions, including factoring, repos and securitisation.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (Compliance, Risk, Legal, IT, Operations) and external partners (law firms, insurers, brokers) to ensure seamless end‑to‑end execution.
• Lead legal documentation negotiations for new and existing deals.
• Manage the internal approval process with risk, middle office and other support functions.
• Support business origination by collaborating with bankers and product teams.
• Maintain and grow the existing portfolio in partnership with the Trade Distribution team.
• Gather market intelligence and present transactions to credit and capital committees.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of receivables monetisation structures such as factoring, repos and securitisation.
• Experience with legal execution and documentation of financing transactions.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Understanding of bank operating practices, governance and capital models.
