Corporate Immigration Paralegal

About the role

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a Corporate Immigration Paralegal to join its client service team. The role involves handling complex employment, investment and treaty‑based visa petitions for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research, draft and prepare visa petitions such as H‑3, L‑1, E‑1/E‑2, EB‑5, TN, H‑1B, E‑3 and extraordinary ability visas.
• Prepare and file labor condition applications and PERM Labor Certifications.
• Manage recruitment processes and submit applications to the U.S. Department of Labor in compliance with federal requirements.
• Resolve client registration and processing issues and craft job listings for PERM filings.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Paralegal certificate (required for California applicants).
• Minimum three years of corporate immigration experience.
• Experience with U.S. Department of Labor procedures, National Visa Center processing, consular processing, and adjustment of status.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with immigration‑specific software.
• Ability to draft L‑, H‑, and PERM applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are a plus.
