Corporate Event Planner

About the role

Hims & Hers is looking for a Corporate Event Planner to join the Employee Experience team on a full‑time, four‑month contract. You will use your hospitality background and strong organizational skills to design and deliver internal events that reinforce company culture and keep employees connected.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organize internal events, including venue sourcing, vendor hiring, transportation, invitations, activities, banquet management, and creation of event materials such as name badges and signage.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, align on goals, coordinate guest lists, and ensure all parties have the necessary information.
• Meet with leaders and executives to define event scope, format, budget, and special requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, A/V providers, and other vendors while meeting budget objectives.
• Monitor events remotely from setup through teardown, ensuring compliance, vendor coordination, issue resolution, and participant satisfaction.
• Handle post‑event tasks including client debriefs, invoice review, payment approval, and documentation of lessons learned.
• Evaluate potential locations and vendors for future event viability.

Required profile

• Proven hospitality or event‑planning experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and bringing creative ideas to life.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and vendor interaction.
