Corporate Counsel

About the role

As a Corporate Counsel at Dematic, you will act as a trusted legal advisor to the Sales organization and other business functions, helping the company meet its commercial objectives while managing legal and regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including master sales agreements, statements of work, software and service contracts, confidentiality agreements, data processing agreements, and reseller agreements.
• Identify contractual risks, recommend practical solutions, and support cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Project Execution, Procurement, Compliance, and IT throughout the contracting process.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation strategies to improve consistency and governance.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on potential impacts and mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction and 3‑6 years of experience supporting commercial transactions.
• Proven ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and deliver clear, practical advice in a fast‑paced global environment.

• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial risk allocation, and customer contracting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
