Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will lead accounting and financial operations for a multi‑site manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this hands‑on leader will drive accounting excellence, improve processes, and partner closely with operations across domestic and international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations across multiple reporting locations, serving as the local accounting lead for the primary U.S. site.
• Own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Improve and standardize accounting processes, internal controls, and cost accounting across sites.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable at the primary site.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and performance‑metric reporting.
• Manage cash projections, banking relationships, and debt‑covenant compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Coach, develop, and lead the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required).
• 5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• 4+ years managing accounting teams and processes.
• 3+ years operating at a Controller level or equivalent responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and multi‑site financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP/business systems (Epicor experience a plus).
• Proficiency in GAAP and cost accounting principles.

What we offer

• Annual salary range $180,000 – $220,000.
