Corporate Controller, Director of Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to lead our global accounting function across multiple regions and legal entities. The role reports to senior leadership and is pivotal in ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting and strategic financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global accounting operations, guaranteeing consistency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial reporting.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with multiple GAAP frameworks and oversee external reporting, including audited statements and regulatory filings.
• Act as the primary authority on technical accounting matters, guiding complex transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, derivatives, lease accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions, deal evaluations, asset recoverability, and investment accounting.
• Manage external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance global accounting policies, internal controls, and drive process improvements, including ERP implementation and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of corporate accounting and public reporting experience.
• Background with a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑region accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑GAAP frameworks and complex accounting topics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Deep expertise in ERP systems and financial automation.
