Cooler Operator - B Shift (Night)

About the role

Saputo, a top 10 global dairy processor, is hiring a Cooler Operator for its 24/7 manufacturing facility in Delhi. The B-shift (night) position covers loading and unloading finished goods according to customer orders, inventory control and the safe operation of material handling equipment. The pay range is $23.00 - $23.15, with a $1.50 per hour night shift premium.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload finished goods and trailers safely and efficiently, following customer specifications and FIFO inventory practices.
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks and battery-powered equipment in line with OSHA Powered Industrial Truck requirements.
• Use automated warehouse management software, scan inventory and keep shipping and receiving records accurate.
• Perform pre- and post-load trailer inspections and stretch-wrapping and palletizing where applicable.
• Follow SOPs, GMP and food safety requirements, support internal and external audits, and comply with dairy food regulations.
• Work in a team, cross-train with other departments and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of demonstrated lift truck experience and ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck certification.
• Warehouse shipping/receiving experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Good attendance, ability to work in a noisy, variable temperature manufacturing environment, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently or 100 pounds with assistance.
• Shift flexibility, including weekends, rotating 3-day and 4-day weeks, and possible schedule changes.

Required skills

• Strong math skills.
• Good computer software skills; SAP is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
