About the role
ASM Global is hiring a Cook in Bossier City. The cook works in the main kitchen areas preparing food items for the facility, and also supports concession service and banquet events.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare food items in the main kitchen areas for the facility.
- Fulfill service orders for each Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Coordinate with Concessions Workers, Cashiers and Runners to set adequate inventory levels so concession service runs smoothly.
- Maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness and assist with annual maintenance.
- Design buffet food presentations creatively.
- Prepare recipes as directed.
- Maintain safe, secure and sanitary working conditions and keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- At least 18 years old.
- 1 year of kitchen/restaurant cooking experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
- Physical ability to walk, stoop, lift up to 30 lbs to the waist and stand for long periods.
