Controls Engineer Technical Support – Night Shift

About the role
Dematic Corp. is seeking a Controls Engineer for its Technical Support team on the night shift. You will work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve material handling system issues using schematics and PLC logic.
Key responsibilities
- Support semi‑complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot material specifications, schematics, and provide follow‑up support.
- Recommend efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and enhancements to customer satisfaction.
- Travel 20‑30% to customer sites, including occasional weekends and overtime.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of customer service support experience in a related field.
- Strong customer‑service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication.
Required skills
- Experience with Allen‑Bradley and Schneider PLC platforms.
- Expertise in controls hardware troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
