Controller / VP Finance – Finance Leader for Growing Dallas Business

About the role

The company, backed by a family office and a new President, is seeking a senior finance leader to professionalise and scale its accounting function as it targets double‑digit revenue growth in Dallas.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function including general ledger, month‑end close, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Design and implement finance processes, systems and technology to support a high‑growth environment.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and long‑term financial planning.
• Partner directly with the President and family‑office investors on strategic decisions.
• Build and develop a finance team as the business scales.

Required profile

• CPA qualification, preferably from a Big 4 or reputable regional public accounting firm.
• 10‑15 years of progressive finance experience, including operating company roles in growth‑oriented, PE‑backed or founder‑led businesses.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to own day‑to‑day accounting while establishing scalable finance infrastructure.
• Commercially minded, able to translate numbers into actionable business decisions.
• Aspiring CFO with a clear pathway to senior finance leadership.

Required skills

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
