About the role

Ascape Landscape and Construction seeks an experienced Controller to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision‑making for its commercial landscape construction and maintenance business.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the preparation of financial statements and conduct financial analysis for the organization.
• Manage compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, internal controls, and tax filings.
• Create and analyze reports to identify opportunities for financial improvement and mitigate risk.
• Develop systems and processes that enhance division and company performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members.
• Serve as a collaborative strategic member of the leadership team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 3+ years managing accounting staff.
• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP and FASB accounting principles.
• Proven experience managing internal payroll operations.

Required skills

• High proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with job costing technologies.
• Knowledge of integrated accounting systems.

• Annual salary $110,000‑$120,000, commensurate with experience.
