Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, detail‑oriented Controller to lead our Accounting and Finance team. The role is central to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and the overall financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting department operations and design an effective organizational structure.
• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing, collections, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
• Coordinate the corporate annual report and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow and safeguard the company’s financial security.
• Develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with management.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, legal, and regulatory financial requirements.
• Liaise with auditors to maintain proper financial oversight.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and contribute to financial strategy decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA, CPA or similar qualification highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of senior‑level finance or accounting experience.
• Proven expertise in financial statements, general ledger functions, and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Strong risk‑management background and deep understanding of business principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
