Contracts Manager

About the role

Leidos is seeking a Contracts Manager to support its National Security Sector in Reston, VA, within the Mission Solutions Business Area. The role oversees a diverse portfolio of contracts and provides cradle-to-grave support for all contract types. It is a customer-facing position requiring strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted partnerships with internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration for CPFF, CPFF-LOE, FFP and T&M government contracts, including opportunity shaping, RFP analysis, proposal development, internal review coordination, negotiation and task order administration.
• Ensure contract compliance with contract requirements, company policy and applicable laws.
• Identify and mitigate contract risks and coordinate reviews in line with Leidos policy.
• Lead RFP review and analysis, negotiate Teaming Agreements, NDAs and licenses, prepare Contracts Volumes and OCI Plans, and represent Leidos in negotiations.
• Partner with program management to set business rhythms for cost, schedule and performance excellence, and ensure strong change management processes.

Required profile

• BA degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years; general contract administration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Ability to make sound business judgments, handle multiple contractual activities with short turnaround, and work independently and in a team.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Government contracting (FAR/DFAR): Fixed Price, Time & Material, CPAF, CPFF, LOE, IDIQ and GSA contracts.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Preferred: IC Acquisitions and Regulations knowledge, formal contracting coursework or certification, experience with large capture teams and negotiating complex contractual issues.

Pay range: $92,300 - $166,850.
