About the role

Compass International Holdings is seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Partner to support its Madison, NJ headquarters for a six‑month engagement. The role focuses on partnering with hiring leaders to design and execute hiring strategies that align with business goals. Ideal candidates are experienced recruiters who thrive in fast‑paced environments and can balance speed with thoughtful candidate assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring leaders to clarify role needs, priorities, and success profiles.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: intake, sourcing, interviewing, candidate engagement, and offers.
• Conduct structured, behavioral interviews to assess skills, potential, and cultural fit.
• Provide clear hiring recommendations and maintain momentum in the hiring process.
• Build and sustain talent pipelines through proactive outreach and creative sourcing.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience regardless of outcome.
• Act as a trusted advisor, anticipate challenges, and adapt recruiting approaches.
• Use data and feedback to continuously improve hiring processes and candidate experience.
• Contribute to workforce planning by identifying trends and future talent needs.
• Collaborate across Talent Acquisition and HR to share insights and enhance processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record partnering with hiring managers across various roles and levels.
• Strong interviewing and assessment abilities, especially behavioral‑based techniques.
• Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging both active and passive candidates.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions.
• Comfortable using multiple recruiting tools and quickly adapting to new systems.
• Experience in sales, real estate, or high‑growth environments is a plus.
