Content Maintenance Specialist – Generative AI (Independent Contractor)

About the role

Udacity is seeking an independent contractor to serve as a Content Maintenance Specialist for its Generative AI curriculum. In this role you will ensure that AI and machine‑learning courses remain current, accurate, and aligned with industry advancements. You will work closely with Udacity team members, including Content Developers, Program Managers, and Learning Architects, to deliver timely updates.

Key responsibilities

• Review course materials using data‑driven metrics such as student satisfaction, lesson ratings, and page‑level feedback.
• Identify outdated or inaccurate content and propose updates based on the latest research and industry trends.
• Update lessons, labs, and assessments, incorporating new Generative AI concepts, LLMs, MLOps, NLP, and computer‑vision techniques.
• Collaborate with Udacity staff to define scope, set priorities, and gather necessary information for content revisions.
• Utilize Udacity Workspaces, Docker containers, and Kubernetes environments to test and validate updated content.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with AI/ML educational content or similar technical domains.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics.
• Self‑motivated independent contributor comfortable managing multiple updates.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with cross‑functional teams.
