Consultant, Analytics & Insights

About the role

Amazon Advertising is seeking a highly skilled Consultant, Analytics & Insights to join its Customer Success team. You will work closely with sales, product, retail and other Amazon partners to turn Amazon’s unique data into actionable insights that improve advertiser performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver data‑driven insights for some of the world’s largest advertisers.
• Act as an analytical consultant, providing insights that shape strategy discussions and negotiations.
• Build relationships with senior marketing decision‑makers and become the go‑to expert in at least one advanced analytical area.
• Develop deep expertise in Amazon’s proprietary metrics and continuously evolve analysis methods.
• Increase the ease of use and availability of data for internal teams and external partners.
• Conduct analyses using previously untapped datasets.
• Write recommendation documents that influence how Account Management, Sales, and Product teams operate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to translate technical analysis into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in digital advertising with a client‑facing focus on data analysis.
• 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries from multiple tables.
