Construction Superintendent

About the role

CME Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead onsite field operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the total construction effort, guaranteeing compliance with design specifications and the project schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including timesheets, daily logs, inspections, incidents, and RFIs.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, material control, and quality control.
• Interact with the Project Manager to approve personnel, subcontractors, purchase requisitions, and field design change requests.
• Provide technical assistance on drawing interpretation, construction methods, and equipment selection.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship in carpentry or a related construction field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience (10 years preferred).
• Strong safety focus and the ability to promote a safe work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Certified competent person for rigging & signaling, excavation, and confined entry.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• MTE & Aerial Lift Training certification.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
