Construction Superintendent – Commercial/Multifamily

About the role

Corvias is seeking a Construction Superintendent I to support commercial and multifamily projects. Working closely with senior and general superintendents, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior and general superintendents with daily field execution and subcontractor coordination.
• Support short‑interval planning, work sequencing, and logistics coordination.
• Promote and enforce Corvias’ Zero Tolerance Safety Standard on site.
• Monitor compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation for assigned scopes.
• Communicate schedule, safety, and quality concerns to field leadership promptly.
• Support punch‑list completion, close‑out documentation, and turnover activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (not required).
• 3+ years of construction field experience, preferably commercial or multifamily.
• Working knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and schedule fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as business needs require.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar document review tools.
