Construction Owner's Representative

About the role

The Owner’s Representative oversees construction and renovation projects at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role acts as an extension of the Owner, collaborating with clinical managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coordination of construction and renovation projects.
• Organize, chair, and represent the Owner at regular project meetings.
• Serve as Project Manager, communicating status, budget, schedule, and issues.
• Monitor pre‑construction and construction services, review payments, and ensure documentation is prepared on time.
• Act as liaison between project teams and other Cleveland Clinic departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience managing commercial or healthcare construction projects valued over $10M (or 12+ years with high school diploma).
• Knowledge of construction/architectural terminology, ability to read construction documents, and participate in contract processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web‑based project software.
