Construction Laborer – General Site Support

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support daily activities on our job sites. The role involves performing manual tasks safely and efficiently while ensuring that tools, materials, and information are readily available for the crew.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general clean‑up and site preparation.
• Dig footings and trenches using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials, strip concrete forms, and back‑fill.
• Operate power tools such as vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, and chipping guns.
• Set braces to support excavation sides and remove rubble.
• Assist other craft workers and carry out other physical tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb) and perform repetitive hand/arm/leg work.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and ability to work on uneven, muddy, or rocky surfaces.
• Capability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces; may need to wear a respirator.
• Effective communication skills and ability to concentrate amid distractions.

Required skills

• Operate power tools (vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, chipping guns) safely.
• Use hand and power tools (electric, gas, pneumatic) with proper training and authorization.
