Connected Services Field Coach

About the role

MSX International, a partner to vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organizations for more than 30 years, is hiring a Connected Services Field Coach in Richmond. The coach acts as a trusted advisor and performance partner for assigned dealerships, helping teams maximize their connected services potential through hands-on coaching, strategic consulting and data-driven insights. The role is highly visible and involves collaboration with dealership leadership, client field representatives and program teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver coaching sessions on connected services sales, activation and customer support, and train staff on the Dealer Rewards Portal, including one-time pay (OTP) sales and free trial activations.
• Partner with dealership leadership to set up and optimize connected services processes in stores.
• Lead monthly performance reviews with client zone teams, highlighting successes, opportunities and best practices.
• Visit dealerships regularly, in person and virtually, and analyze performance metrics to recommend strategies that raise activation rates and OTP sales.
• Coach teams on sales and customer engagement techniques, and work with client field representatives to align with regional business objectives.
• Monitor progress toward activation and sales goals, develop customized action plans and report regularly to program leadership.
• Share success stories and best practices with fellow coaches, and collect feedback to improve coaching content and program processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in automotive, coaching or consulting, preferably with a focus on vehicle or dealer technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Must love travel: 80% travel required, with local travel 2-4 days a week and 2-3 flights per month.
• Strong coaching, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort working independently in the field.
