Conference Services Manager

About the role

The Conference Services Manager is responsible for driving revenue by prospecting, securing, and managing small group and larger event business. This role reports to the Director of Sales and focuses on achieving room, food & beverage, and meeting space targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and secure small group business (25 rooms or less) and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
• Manage event execution, including BEO creation, F&B forecasting, room block management, and timely contract production.
• Generate detailed resumes for operating departments and monitor group room blocks and pick‑ups.
• Negotiate contracts and banquet event orders, up‑sell additional amenities, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of hotel group sales or conference services management experience.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make quick business decisions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer complaints and emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work occasional weekends/holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with brand‑specific Property Management System(s).
• Competence in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience creating and negotiating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
