Concrete Finisher / Laborer

About the role

CMT Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable Concrete Finisher/Laborer to join its construction team in Dulles. The role involves preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete on various projects while adhering to safety standards and working collaboratively with crew members.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle concrete forms, mix and pour concrete.
• Smooth and level surfaces using hand power tools.
• Operate trowels, screeds, and concrete saws to finish concrete.
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools.
• Move materials and assist with related concrete activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Good physical condition; able to lift at least 50 lb, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• 1‑3 years of construction or concrete work experience, with some carpentry background.
• High‑school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and successful background check.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work day‑shift hours, including possible weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand power tools such as trowels, screeds, and concrete saws.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Understanding of safety precautions around heavy equipment and public works sites.
