About the role
The Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, shaping, and finishing concrete on a variety of construction projects, ensuring surfaces meet quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Spread and level freshly poured concrete on sidewalks, roads, floors, and foundations.
- Smooth surfaces using hand and power tools such as trowels and floats.
- Apply finishes, textures, or sealants according to project specifications.
- Repair and restore existing concrete structures.
- Monitor curing processes to maintain strength and durability.
Required profile
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, setting, and curing processes.
- Ability to read basic construction plans or work instructions.
- Physical stamina and strong attention to detail.
Required skills
- Use of hand and power finishing tools (trowels, floats).
- Experience with concrete finishing techniques and surface preparation.
