Concrete Carpenter

About the role

A leading manufacturer of concrete products is looking for a dedicated Concrete Carpenter in Dallas. The role involves interpreting blueprints to measure and assemble rebar and forms, and assembling forms around structures.

Key responsibilities

• Shape or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble wood or other materials by hand, machine or power saw to build forms shaped like the structure
• Set forms, tie and reinforce rebar, place concrete and remove forms
• Assist with pouring, leveling and finishing of concrete surfaces
• Operate tools such as trowels and power screeds
• Work with team members to keep projects on schedule

Required profile

• 2+ years of previous carpentry experience preferred
• Ability to solve math problems to measure the right amount of material for forms
• High school diploma or equivalent

Required skills

• Rebar tying with pliers
• Reading tape measures and blueprints
• Use of hand saws, electric saws and drills
