Concrete Carpenter – Form Setter & Finisher

About the role

Rusin Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter to join its dedicated team in Colorado Springs. You will work hands‑on to set forms, pour, finish, and protect concrete structures, ensuring high‑quality foundations for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set and align concrete forms to the required pitch and depth, checking for proper construction.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand/power trowels, screeds, and floats.
• Monitor curing conditions affected by wind, heat, or cold and adjust processes accordingly.
• Produce textured surfaces with brooms and create expansion joints using edging tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to waterproof or restore concrete surfaces.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of concrete experience; general construction experience preferred.
• Ability to tie rebar/steel, build forms, and mix/pour/finish concrete.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work irregular hours, including early mornings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools such as rakes, shovels, trowels, screeds, floats, brooms, edging tools, and wire brushes.
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to work in noisy, wet, hot, cold, dusty environments.

• Hourly pay ranging from $25.00 to $31.00, depending on experience.
