Skilled Construction Laborer

About the role

Join Rusin Concrete’s dedicated team as a Skilled Construction Laborer, helping deliver high‑quality concrete foundations for commercial and residential projects across Colorado Springs.

Key responsibilities

• Set, align, and inspect forms to achieve the required pitch and depth.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand/power trowels, screeds, and floats.
• Monitor curing conditions affected by wind, heat, or cold.
• Produce textured surfaces with brooms and finish expansion joints and edges.
• Clean and prepare surfaces, applying hardening and sealing compounds as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of general construction experience.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work well with coworkers and the public.

Required skills

• Hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, etc.)
• Concrete finishing tools: hand/power trowel, screed, float, broom
• Form setting and alignment tools
• Edging tools, jointers, straightedge
