Form Setter / Carpenter

About the role

Rusin Concrete is seeking an experienced Form Setter/Carpenter to join its dedicated team in Colorado Springs. You will work hands‑on to set, align, and finish concrete forms, ensuring high‑quality foundations for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set and align forms to the required pitch and depth, checking for proper construction.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand and power tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats.
• Monitor curing conditions (wind, temperature) and produce a rough surface with a broom.
• Mold expansion joints and edges, clean chipped areas, and apply hardening or sealing compounds.

Required profile

• At least one year of concrete experience; general construction experience preferred.
• Ability to tie rebar/steel, build forms, and mix/pour/finish concrete.
• Comfort working in all weather conditions and irregular hours, including weekends and possible travel.
