Computer User Support Specialist (TS/SCI) - Eglin AFB

About the role

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer User Support Specialist to join its Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB. The position supports the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. It is a full-time, onsite role requiring an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Analytical support: provide analytical techniques and procedures for clients, systems and networks, and consult with users on hardware, software and system functionality.
• Network, user and systems support: identify, prioritize and resolve issues, create network user accounts and configure email.
• Helpdesk support: field user calls, assess the level of support needed and escalate or distribute them to the appropriate tier (e.g., Tier 2, Tier 3).
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution: support account management, enterprise resource applications, server administration, networking and application issues, and resolve software, hardware and communications problems on supported workstations.
• Security and monitoring: perform security patching, document corrective actions, collect system audits and monitor systems, networks and user operations.
• Hardware and software installation and testing.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of direct or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a full-service IT support team member in a Windows Active Directory environment.
• Experience collaborating on daily support activities and resolving IT needs for SCIF and corporate IT operations.
• Current, active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to submit to a polygraph.
• Able to stay seated 50% of the time, occasionally move around the office, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
