Compliance Data Management Associate – Independence Systems

About the role

The Independence Operations Associate supports RSM's Office of Risk Management by managing risk through the firm’s independence systems. The role involves processing data, conducting research, and providing procedural support to engagement teams as seasonal volumes fluctuate.

Key responsibilities

• Process updates to the Entity Management System (EMS) and support independence and conflict‑of‑interest search procedures.
• Research internal databases, summarize findings and deliver reports to engagement teams.
• Maintain EMS relationships and data, consult with client servers, and review proposed edits.
• Monitor workload, ensure timely action on assignments, and provide status reporting to management.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in a support or customer‑service role.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing to diverse audiences and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong conflict‑resolution and process‑improvement skills.
• Experience working with international teams and adapting quickly to process changes.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with SharePoint as a document repository.
• Experience with enterprise workflow or data‑management systems.
